David D. Levine is a Hugo Award winner (2006) and nominee (2004), John W.
Campbell Award finalist (2004 and 2003), Writers of the Future Contest winner
(2002), James White Award winner (2001), and Clarion West graduate (2000). He
has sold short stories to magazines such as Asimov's, F&SF, and Realms of
Fantasy and anthologies including All-Star Zeppelin Adventure Stories, New
Voices in Science Fiction, and four Year's Best volumes (two SF, two Fantasy).
He lives in Portland, Oregon, where he and his wife, Kate Yule, produce the
