Halloween Tic Tac Toe is another game of my invention. I don't think it would sell in stores (though people pay thirty, even forty bucks for a normal tic-tac-toe set), but I think it would make a good freebie to give those who visit my website. All you need are two players, a pencil, and a piece of paper.
The game is played as follows:
1. Draw a six-by-six grid on the paper (five horizontal lines, five vertical lines). This represents a cemetery with 36 empty graves.
2. Decide who goes first.
3. The first player starts the game by placing a G (for Ghost) or a V (for Vampire) in an empty grave. (Ghosts and Vampires are both neutral and both can be placed by either player.)
4. The second player then places another G or V in one of the remaining empty graves.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until a row of three, either of Ghosts or Vampires, is formed. The player who accomplishes this row of three is the winner.
I've playtested the game on my computer, and it works out evenly for both players. But don't take my word for it. Play it for yourself. :-)
