SF Roundup: Features

This is my area for value-added content to Short Fiction Roundup. I'm hoping to bring a variety of news and interest pieces here for your enjoyment. Let me know if you have any ideas for this area.

First Word: (Where I say a few quick words at each update about what's new or other stuff.)

Almost There: I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, which of course means that a slew of new stuff is probably about to arrive. However, the only things left to get done are the '97 anthologies that I still need to list, and I need to update author web sites on the index. Everything else is fiddly bits behind the scenes.

The good news is that I've added professional online fiction to the mix with the inclusion of Omni, TomorrowSF, and Infinite Edge. I even wrangled Mike Totty, IE's senior editor into an interview about the process of starting a web-zine. I also have and editorial about the whole phenomenon.

Also, I've added a handful of new magazine issues, as well as got caught up with the reader reviews. Just a note on how I date those. The date after the issue on the Publications page is the date I add them to the site, as is the "update" at the top of that issue's page. The date by the story title and by the review is the date that the review came in, so there will usually be a discrepancy. You'll at least see evidence of how much I procrastinate. <g>

Another Delay: Since the last update, I've been away from the computer for a couple of weeks, and I'm about to leave for a few days more (not for WorldCon, though I wish!), pushing back my schedule quite a bit.  I'm aiming to get everything caught up on September 5th, but I'll probably drop a Hugo report in before that, probably a day or two after the award ceremony.
