F.A.Q's for EbookReader Reviews

Q: How do I submit my ebook to you for review?

A: Preferably in html format or .pdf format. We will accept .rtf, however. Please query first before sending an attachment, though, so we know it's on its way.

Q: Does ERR consider self-published ebooks?

A: Yes. We will consider self-published ebooks.

Q: Will you review every book that you receive?

A: Not necessarily. EbookReader Reviews reserves the right to refuse to review a submission, especially if the submission is not worth reviewing.

Q: What is this "Epublisher Review" thing?

A: There are so many epublishers out there, and each one has different practices and procedures. Ebook Reader Reviews realizes there are many scams as well. We want to make the internet a little safer to swim in, and perhaps give some epublishers who may be struggling some ideas to stay afloat.

Q: Why are you only reviewing ebooks?

A: Because we believe there aren't enough ebook review sites out there, especially ones who focus only on small press ebooks and epublishers. There are so many wonderful ebooks that are overlooked, and quite a few that should never have been published at all. We're just trying to even the playing field a little bit.

Q: Who are the people behind EbookReader Reviews?

A: Jennifer St. Clair and Vicki McElfresh are both writers. They have been corresponding online since 1999, but have not yet met in person. They are collaborating on a novel, Trapped in the Spiritworld with an Internet Connection, and they tend to send long, involved emails to each other every single day. Check out their websites for more information. Vicki McElfresh, Jennifer St. Clair

Q: What is this "reviews from a writer's point of view" thing?

A: Both of the reviewers are also writers, and it makes sense to review as writers instead of just readers. We'll comment on things other reviewers might not, like quality, grammar, and spelling mistakes as well as content, etc.

Q: What if my ebook gets a bad review?

A: Reviews are only opinions, and every book gets a bad review or two in its lifetime. If your book gets a bad review, remember that one opinion will not make or break your writing career.
