Stories Like Water--an origin

My books are water; those of the great geniuses is wine. Everybody drinks water. -- Mark Twain

I write stories like water. They are plentiful--I never have trouble finding something to write about. Sometimes they surprise me, like an unexpected bend in a raging river. Sometimes, I run aground, tossed up onto dry land by the rapids. Sometimes, I drown. Drought and rainy seasons go hand-in-hand here. Most of the time, I have enough leftover from the rainy seasons to withstand the force of the droughts.

There are so many stories in my head that if I stopped writing, I fear my brain would burst. I dream stories. I eat stories. I find fodder for stories everywhere I turn and everywhere I go.

Stories Like Water evolved from the above quote by Mark Twain.
