Science Fiction or Fantasy,
the focus of all my stories is the human factor.
Relationships
are key. Motives are. The worlds and politics are complex
and
(I certainly hope) interesting, but they're simply
the framework for the real
stories, which are people
stories. Diehard SF readers have admitted to loving
the
Ring series and vice versa.

first series, currently under resurrection.
This is hard SF centered around a revolutionary
educational system, those who help develop it,
and those who survive it.

Fantasy
with an electronic twist. The Ring books began
with a desire to explore the weird and wonderful
realm of siblinghood, and have led me into the
strange politics surrounding the
AC-DC controversy.
