Here's a story Danica wrote when the water pump in our car blew out the day before Christmas Eve. Luckily, our car didn't have as many troubles as the one in the story.

The Car and the Doctor

Once upon a time there was a little car. And its water pump died. So he called the doctor, and the doctor bought a water pump.

But then the little car could not go. "My engine is dead."

So the doctor bought him an engine. But when the doctor put the engine in, he saw that the little car's battery was dead too. So the doctor bought a new battery. Finally the car could go, and the doctor could rest.
