We held our first revel April 23, 1977--so we obviously didn't waste any time. The scan below is of one of our fliers. Sorry for the poor quality; the original looks like it was stepped on and crumpled at some time before it made its way into my files.
 We didn't know any better at the time--you'll note (on the flier) Sorcha and Elaine are called "Lady," though neither had Awards of Arms yet.
(Interesting historical note: I received my Award of Arms exactly a year to this day later: 23 April 1978.) |
