Am Mor Salann Fasach's officers wanted to make special cards to send to those out-of-area people who had helped us so much in building our group over the past year and a half. So we held a photo shoot at Hold Tyte, Sir Robert and Lady Leah de Spencer's hold. The excellent mural behind us in many of the pictures was painted by Sir Robert. This basement family room opened out into the back yard and the shire actually held many small events right here at Hold Tyte. Then, as now, Robert and Leah's hospitality was legendary. Everyone in the barony was sad when that house was bought by the state and demolished to make room for a highway.
