Greatest Uncommon Denominator magazine just posted their review of my collection
Sparks and Shadows. Overall, they seem to really like it, and I'm entirely pleased, because all this time I was pretty sure they were going to hammer me into oblivion ;-) No, really; they're a tough crowd over there, but reviewer Debbie Moorhouse sums up her review with "Dark, funny, and romantic by turns,
Sparks and Shadows is a must read. Go! Buy! Read!"
You can find the whole review here:

One of the stories in
Sparks and Shadows that the reviewer remarked upon ("this macabre tale is gripping") is "Through Thy Bounty"; the story was also recently reviewed here:

GUD news, Kaolin Fire told me on Friday that the magazine staff nominated my poem "
Subtlety" over at the Preditors & Editors Readers' Poll:
