I have an MA in journalism from Indiana University and a BS in biology from Angelo State University and I took a whole lot of coursework in English and chemistry in the process.

I've worked as a tech support agent, biology tutor, systems specialist, web designer, science writer, software reviewer, managing editor, research assistant, advertisement designer, early-morning radio news editor, snake wrangler, and bassoon instructor.
