Other Writing Credits

I began my professional writing career as a copywriter in Alexandria, Virginia in 1984, writing text for brochures, ads, and promotional publications. My first assignment was a brochure for the Assets Protection Team, sort of a rent-a-scab operation. We moved back to Maine in 1987 and I began freelancing for the Bangor Daily News ("Maine's largest daily!") and Maine In Print among others, through which I was able interview some pretty neat people.

* A very candid interview with Stephen King

* William Kotzwinkle on Game of Thirty

* Terry Goodkind confesses to success

* Anne Rice dishes her favorite vampires

* Letter to Alexi

My first published short story, "Letter to Alexi," was a spoof on vampire erotica which appeared in the 1995 edition of Prisoners of the Night Magazine. It's currently available on-line at Mind's Eye Fiction. [NOTE: The site sometimes has problems, so if it's not working, please try again later.]
