July 2005

• Year's Best Science Fiction 22nd Collection is out with my story "Ten Sigmas." Also all my other stories from 2004 got honorable mentions.
• I will be at Context in October. Toby, Charlie, and I will be running the writer's workshop.
• "Summer of the Seven" is out in the August Asimov's.
• "Strength Alone" has qualified for the Preliminary Nebula Ballot! It's not a Nebula Nominee yet, but it's on the short list which will get voted on by the SFWA membership to determine the Nominees.

• "The Walls of the Universe" has sold to Asimov's! This is my first novella sale!
• "Kirby Drogan and the Two Giants" is out in Spider, with fabulous illustrations.

February, 2005

• "Ten Sigmas" gets picked for the next Year's Best Science Fiction!!
• "Ten Sigmas" and "Fallow Earth" both make the Locus Recommended Reading List!
