Spring is coming, and we are starting to look for a house. This is a little overwhelming, but it give me a great excuse to start compiling blogs about home ownership and home decorating -- expect a list soon!

In the meantime, I've been looking for some easy, relatively mindless, instant gratification knitting. These bags turned out to be the perfect choice:

New grocery bags

The pattern is Ms. Crafty Galore's Monkey/Market bag, and she has more great patterns at her LJ. (I also like these!)

Today I took a walk to the grocery store, and used my new grocery bags. It was a great, early spring kind of day, and I really need to take more walks. I am ready for full-on spring, and lots of color, and I'm finding inspiration all over the crafty-blogosphere. It's making me want to quilt, and make tons of granny squares. Spring officially arrives in just 3 more days (and it's supposed to creep back toward the mid-60s & low-70s around then!) -- I say, bring it on.
