We've found a house -- we're supposed to close on Friday. It's exciting, but I'm trying to stay low key about it so that I don't stress!

I wanted something mindless and easy to do in front of the television, and so I started making a ripple afghan. Bright, happy colors and an easy stitch pattern to memorize. It's going very well, so far!

I'm also still working on the Jaywalker socks. This project goes along in my bag, and I work on it in bits and pieces here & there, but it won't be long until I'm turning the heel!

Other knitting projects have been backburnered for a while, in favor of projects that doesn't require too much thinking or changing gears. Once we're moved & settled (and once I get over my current academic slog), I'll be ready to take those on again. For now, it's all about happy colors and easy-going crafting.
