Support fan-run conventions!

The commercial "conventions" emphasize merchandise.

Fan conventions emphasize content, contact, and conversation.

Minnesota Fan conventions:

• Minicon is held every Easter weekend.
• Diversicon is usually held in July.
• Arcana is held in September or October.

There is also the Fourth Street Fantasy Convention, and a Romance writers/readers convention, and several others.
