New Writer FAQs
People occasionally ask question when the discover I'm a writer. The usual answers are
"no," "yes," "approximately 3.1415926535,"
"Semprini," and "globulin."
Other times, people ask about writing. So I decided to create the FAQs. Click on a
topic to read what I have to say.
Did PublishAmerica reject your Manuscript?
According to one source, PublishAmerica rejects 80% of the
submissions they receive. Since they claim to have published manuscripts
from over 4,000 authors, that logically means that they have rejected as
many as 16,000 manuscripts.
In order to test that claim, Preditors
and Editors, a site dedicated to exposing writing scams, is asking
writers whose manuscripts were rejected by PublishAmerica to contact
P&E at prededitors@att.net
so that they can gather the necessary evidence. Writers who do respond
to this request can expect their identities and manuscript titles to
remain totally confidential as journalistic resources. |
