Q: So, what's with that graphic on your splash page?

A: That's a picture of me with Variel, done by my good friend Peter Maloney (aided and abetted by my other good friend Amanda, his wife). That's pretty much what I look like (I do own that coat and scarf), and Variel's right on the money as well. Though Variel takes a bit of issue with his colouration (male griffin feathers are very metallic. It's the females whose colour is muted).

Q: When do you update the Kesh stories?

A: Ideally, the first day of every other month. That's January (actually posted Christmas day), March, May, July, September, November. However, due to certain circumstances in my life right now (i.e. working 7 days a week), the May story may be delayed.

Books

Q: What are you working on now?

A: I'm in the process of revising Elysium one, writing Elysium two. I've started a new book that's just weird, but very demanding. And there are a couple of shorts I'm working on, including one that jumped out at me when I read an Innu legend, and the sequel to "Tides of Change".


Q: Do you have any books published?

A: Short stories yes -- in ODYSSEY and in FANTASTIC COMPANIONS. Books, no. But I'm working on it. Check the bibliography for details.


Q: Can I get a signed copy of ODYSSEY?

A: Certainly. You can either e-mail me and arrange to buy one directly, or get in touch with Bakka and ask them to send one to you.

Cons

Q: Will you be at any upcoming cons?

A: Yup. I'll be at Ad Astra every year for as long as they'll have me back.

I'm also going to try to be at Toronto Trek this year, but no guarantees -- I'm really pulling the "starving writer" thing. Okay, so maybe I'm not starving. But I do live in a garret. Seriously.
