Cutter
is a "Parti-Colored Pom," not to be confused with a Papillon.
She weighs in at 9.5 pounds and is a proud mouser. Parti-poms are
very affectionate and excellent watch dogs. Cutter was born to be
prey-oriented, which makes her fun to play with, but all to inclined
to regard cars as she does squirrels: something to chase and catch!
Sark
is 3 months younger than Cutter and half her size, but holds his
own in their play. Although he can be as aloof as a cat, once he
decides to come on over, he's quite a lover and happy to snuggle.
As Sark has gotten older, he's acquired white markings on his face
and along his flanks. This has made his expressions easier to read,
and has added a flash of elegance to his bloomers as he runs.
Tatra
is the newest member of our household. She joined us in late March
after a bad knee took her off the dog show fast track. She's recovering
now, getting acquainted with Cutter and Sark, discovering the differences
between living in the country and the city, and bringing us much
joy.
