ROASTED PORK WITH DUMPLINGS AND SAUERKRAUT Translator Zdeněk Uherčík reports on V SÍTI SNŮ's 1st review: "...there is a review of your "In The Net Of Dreams" in IKARIE, which is the best and most popular Czech SF and Fantasy magazine. It turns out quite well; the reviewer values it 4 points out of 5. "Here is a brief summary: Very good combination of SF and Fantasy and although the book was written in 1990 it still keeps its originality and attraction. Believably working magic and a lot of fun, bird's eye and cyberpunk frame of the story. The only minus is a lot of characters. But when you start reading, you can't stop till the last page. "About 60% of the review is a brief contents of the book. "In the last column the reviewer says that this book is like a good straight portion of roasted pork with dumplings and sauerkraut (Czech national meal - I recommend) and looks forward to the next two books." |
